Highgreen sits in stunning open moorland in the heart of the Northumberland National Park, 38 miles north-west of Newcastle and 90 miles south of Edinburgh.
We are not far from the historic abbey town of Hexham, Hadrian's Wall, and Kielder Forest with its reservoir, sculpture trail, and Skyspace Installation by James Turrell . Close by are the villages of Bellingham , capital of the North Tyne, and Otterburn in the Rede valley. The Scottish border towns of Jedburgh and Hawick and the Cheviot Hills are also close by.
Highgreen Manor is Grade 2 listed. |
