The Dovecote

Our courses currently take place in the Dovecote , a converted former stable and loft, which is also available outside course months as a retreat or workplace for writers, artists, or anyone just wanting to get away from it all. The Dovecote is simply furnished and has a wonderful feeling of light and space. Downstairs there is a large open-plan living area. There is also a small galley-style kitchen and a shower room with WC. Upstairs there is a galleried sleeping area (Futon sofa-bed) with a stunning view through the glazed arched window to the hills beyond.

Services include electric heating (night store and panel heaters) and use of the garden area at the rear of the building. The studio is not equipped with phone or TV. (Mobile phones do not have any reception at Highgreen though they work up the hill.)
